North Shields Royal Quays Marina - Blyth Marina

I have spent night on boat
Started 5:12 alone on a boat
Finally got through the gates 5:44
No wind at all in some moments.
The light breeze appeared on 10:00
New Yamacha 6 hp completely killed due to impeller problems. Marina was approached by old 1974 Yamaha 8 hp
6 dolphins comes and goes. Finished in Blyth on 14:30
Nice company from Holland and Belgium. Belgium teem has one of most magnificent boats 7 meters long LAMIA.
The mast from carbon fiber is extremely tall for that kind of boat. There is keel quite massive but there is two tanks for water for contra-balance equal for 8 people. Everything is new and advanced made from plastic and fiber wire. They came up from Belgium per 4 days on a breeze.

 17/07/2016 Sunday
Blyth Marina - Amble Marina

I have got up in 5:00. Guys from Belgium on LAMIA left marina on engine.
Start 10:00 because there was no wind at all. The wigs of giant wind generators were even not moving.
Very mild breeze with some times no wind at all. Light breeze in noon became 25 knots in afternoon.
Difficult sailing between main land and Coquet island.
The sand on right in a Chanel was avoided keeping direction of boat on left near by peer
The Amble marinas bar was crossed just in time. It is possible to enter marina 4 hours before and 4 hours after the high tide.
There were accidents when a bout stuck on the bar-threshold coming in to marina.
The pass is not on left but on right of the big  red boy of the marina. On the left side is shallow water.
It is quite difficult to find visitor pontoon. It is big quadrangle sign on right side.
When you crossing a bar don't go to left to the fuel pontoon but go just to right sided fuel pontoon and look up there should be visitors sign.
Finished 18:00 completely knocked out from tiredness. I have come back to Newcastle central station buy local bus per 1.5 hours for 6 £.
